Annual Syncrude Food Drive and Corporate challenge - November 29-30

Every year, near the end of November, we hold our Annual Syncrude Food Drive. It is a four-day event with two components: The Corporate Challenge, and the Syncrude Food Drive.

Syncrude starts off the challenge by announcing its annual corporate donation live on air. From there, they challenge other corporations and community members to pledge and challenge. Everyone is welcome to call in and pledge: Corporations, service groups, clubs, and individual donors!

Next, there is a three-day Syncrude Food Drive. Volunteers are stationed at all local grocery stores with a red pick-up truck provided by Wilson, collecting cash, gift card and monetary donations.

All Nations Church is scheduled to help at the 32nd Annual Syncrude Food Drive! Their biggest event of the year is just around the corner, and we need amazing volunteers like you to help distribute bags and essential items to customers coming into the stores, as well as collect donations into the back of the Wilson trucks stationed at each location.

Shifts are only 2 hours long, but you’re welcome to stay longer if you’d like! They’ll be coming around with snacks, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate to show their appreciation for your incredible support. Let Us help them feed YMM and ensure no one goes hungry in our communities!
